These advancements range from the decarbonization of steelmaking and downstream processes to the automotive industry’s adaptation of innovative body-in-white manufacturing technologies and the increased use of advanced high-strength steels for electric vehicles. All of these advancements are aimed at reducing overall carbon footprint while maintaining vehicle fuel economy and continuous enhancements to passenger safety.
