Ms. Nancy Armstrong
Process Engineer - Process Technology
Nancy Armstrong is a process engineer for the Operating Technology & Innovation group at Stelco in Hamilton and Nanticoke, Ont., Canada. Her career began in Ironmaking as a management associate in 2015 for U. S. Steel Canada. Armstrong is a technical representative for Stelco on the Canadian Carbonization Research Association, the vice chair for the AIST Ironmaking Technology Committee, and a member of the organizing committees for the McMaster University Blast Furnace Ironmaking and Cokemaking Courses. She has been lead author on three published technical articles for AISTech. She has been, and continues to be, involved with leading Stelco's Network for Young Professionals and Managers Network and a member of the AIST Young Professional Steering Committee. Armstrong will be completing her master's of applied science degree in material engineering at McMaster University in the spring of 2021.
